Excavation set to begin on Astoria property for residential tower

The 30,102-square-foot-long lot has already been surrounded by construction fencing. Machines for the construction work are expected to arrive on site within the coming weeks. Former LIC parachute factory transformed into 7-story life sciences space

A ‘life science’ facility refers to properties that offer lab and office spaces for organizations working on scientific research and discoveries.
