Over three dozen distinguished honorees were feted Wednesday night as Caribbean Life hosted its annual Caribbean Impact Awards.
The Steven and Alexandra Cohen Foundation has awarded a grant of $116.2 million to LaGuardia Community College to create a new state-of-the-art workforce training center at its Long Island City campus.

Felony assaults also rose during this period of time, while burglaries declined slightly.
